Advanced DFT Induction Courses

A two day course designed for physiologists at hospitals that perform ICD inductions. Attendees must have attended over 30 ICD implants and over 30 ICD follow ups. The course is conducted in a virtual cath-lab and beneficial for students who need to be signed to support ICD inductions.

Advanced ICD’s and Algorithms

One and a half day course looking at Sorin Group ICD’s and SonR CRT’s and their algorithms. Suitable for those with a good grounding in ICD/CRT implantation and therapy. This course aims to discuss Arrhythmia Discrimination, VT/VF Therapies, SonR CRT Auto optimisation and Remote Follow up. This course also contains practical training using simulators and troubleshooting cases.

Advanced Pacing and Algorithms

One and a half day course suitable for those with a good grounding in pacing that wish to learn more about mode selection and Sorin Group Pacemaker algorithms. This course aims to discuss timing cycles including refractory periods, appropriate mode selection and Sorin Group specific algorithms. A session on device troubleshooting will also be included. Delegates are invited to bring along any interesting cases for discussion.

All About Algorithms (Tachy)

This course will cover the practical aspects of using BIOTRONIK’s Home Monitoring service. The course will be ideal for anyone using the service or wanting a refresher.
