GIRFT National Report for Cardiology

Getting It Right First Time (GIRFT) national report for cardiology, has been published and is available to download.  The report highlights the importance of digital transformation, alongside the introduction of cardiology networks, to improve access to services and better integrate pathways across acute, primary and community care, and includes 25 recommendations to help bring improvements.

You will need to register to download the report.  This report is authored by Dr Sarah Clarke (consultant interventional cardiologist at Papworth Hospital, Cambridge and a past president of the BCS) and Professor Simon Ray (consultant cardiologist at the Wythenshawe Hospital and another past president of the BCS).
