UK CATH LAB CONSENSUS STUDY

On behalf of Iain Gillingham, Nurse & Researcher at Edinburgh Napier University

“My name is Iain Gillingham, I am a nurse and a researcher at Edinburgh Napier University.  I would like to invite you to participate in a research study that I am conducting within Cath Labs in the UK.

The purpose of this study is to explore your thoughts and opinions on current challenges that the multi-disciplinary team face and to discuss future options for the Cath Lab workforce.

Cath Lab staff need to have a diverse skillset across a range of disciplines including coronary intervention, structural heart work, and cardiac rhythm management and they each present many challenges.

I would like to focus on how the multi-disciplinary team can meet those challenges and prepare for the future. This will be made possible by understanding a broad range of opinions from Cath Lab workers past and present as well as those of you who are knowledgeable in the area.

Please click this link for the survey.

Please feel free to pass this on to your colleagues or anyone else you think may be interested.

Your participation is greatly appreciated.”

Best wishes
