Young Investigator Award Rules
Call for Abstracts (including YIA)
We are pleased to invite you to submit abstracts to showcase your work in the field of arrhythmias and implantable devices.
Submissions should take the form of up to 500 words and a maximum of one figure. Rules for submissions are included on this page.
All submissions should be submitted via the form below by the closing date of 5 PM on Friday 10 January 2025.
The work will be presented at the British Heart Rhythm Sessions on Tuesday 4 – Thursday 6 March 2025 in Edinburgh.
Physicians, HCPs, or nurses who are under 40 or in a training programme are eligible for our Young Investigator Award which they can apply for by indicating eligibility on their abstract submission.
This award is open to BHRS members. Memberships will be checked.
The applicant would normally be presenting original data from a project for which they have played a leading role but will freely acknowledge the contribution of their supervisor and the rest of the research team.
Cases & Traces
Submissions for presentation of cases of interest. These may include EP or device trace based or other clinical scenarios of interest.
Submissions should include an up to 100 word synopsis and up to one figure to illustrate the case.
We are particularly interested in receiving submissions to be presented by trainees, HCPs and nurses.
An award will be made for the best case presentation.
All submissions should be submitted via the form below by the closing date of 5 PM on Friday 14 February 2025.
Audit Submission Form
Submissions are invited for audits in the field of arrhythmias. Please submit a synopsis of up to 100 words and up to one figure.
We are particularly interested in receiving submissions to be presented by trainees, HCPs and nurses.
Presentations at the meeting will be in poster format and an award will be made for the best audit.
All submissions should be submitted via the form below by the closing date of 5 PM on Friday 14 February 2025.
