Would be very keen to hear how other departments manage these advisories. Quite a few out ATM and it is quite labour intensive from our point of view. Manually adding it to our electronic records, pulling files, ensuring compliance or signing up to remote monitoring and send letters to all the affected patients, after determining a management strategy. Any ideas would be most welcome!

We add it to the CVIS record so that it is automated. The recent notice about Abbott devices (<1% failure rate) we have asked all pacing depended patients is they would like a box change by arranging an extra inperson visit to go through the risks / possible benefits.
