How to Apply
In the next couple of weeks we will be sending details on how to apply for the £750 grant to attend the Heart Rhythm Congress in Birmingham in October. 24 awards of £750 are available exclusively to BHRS members on a first come, first served, basis.
The award can be used for registration, travel and accommodation.
As you may have seen we have recently refreshed our website. If you’d like to apply for a grant you need to ensure you have access to your BHRS online profile. First time visitors to the website need to reset their password to support the migration.
In the next couple of weeks full details will be emailed out to all current BHRS members with a link to a submission form. On this form you’ll be asked for your current post and institution and contact details. If you are one of the first 24 to respond to the email you will receive confirmation of attendance and award within one week of submission. The award is granted on a refund basis so receipts and proof of attendance will be required within one month of the congress. We will send details of how to submit this documentation after confirmation of award. Accommodation should be 4 star or less, rail coach or travel must be 2nd class. The grant is not applicable to taxis, petrol mileage, parking or food.
Note: Successful BHRS members will not be eligible to apply to BHRS for financial support to attend scientific meetings for 2 years from the date of HRC
