No perfect answer, management likely to change over time, some decisions will require best clinical judgment at the time. At Basildon as of last week anyone due for in clinic follow up with remote monitoring is being rescheduled to remote. All new implants Brady + Tachycardia are having RM transmitters on the day of implant. 4-6 week check to be remote. Working on a way to assess wounds, some centres having pictures sent in via message/email. Those without/not able to have remote monitoring triaged for need to attend v risk of harm if doesn’t attend. If battery is > 2 years, no previous lead/device concerns extending f/u by 6/12 to 12/12.
